Design & Development Associates have recently secured planning approval for the conversion of a three storey Victorian building into flats. The property, based in Charminster, is currently a large residential unit which the client wanted to separate into smaller dwellings.
We undertook an initial survey and produced a proposal which achieved the clients requirements with minimal internal & structural alterations. After submitting to the council we successfully handled the Section 106 agreement on behalf of our client, and just escaped the affordable housing contributions which are now active again.
After receiving the planning approval, we were then instructed to produce the working drawing package detailing all the building regulations requirements the client must meet in order to receive a Building Control approval.
