Design & Development Associates have secured consent for a non-material amendment to a previously approved householder scheme in Poole.
The client was seeking to make amendments from the previously approved plans by changing the size and position of the windows, improving access for disability purposes and to facilitate an internal disability lift.
The lift was currently located on the right-hand side of the dwelling leading up into the master bedroom. By changing the location of the lift to the left-hand side of the dwelling and altering the front door position to the front of the house, has given the client the space for an extra storage room & reduces overall build costs. The two bathrooms upstairs have been reduced to one larger bathroom, which allows for a more spacious hallway and a better flow to the communal areas.
Design and Development Associated used the previously approved floor plans to make the design changes and submit these to the local authority. The amendments were then approved within 3 weeks of submission.
