Design & Development Associates have secured planning permission for a single storey rear extension to a beautiful character property in Broadstone.
The client, who was looking to extend their home to create a large kitchen living dining room approached us for some design input and to deduce the correct way forward in order for works to begin.
Our initial site assessment revealed that the proposal would fall under the criteria for a householder planning application as the size of the proposal was outside the scope of permitted development. The property was also a corner plot which means different rules apply and thus a planning application was required.
We undertook a measured site survey of the property and produced detailed existing floor plans and elevations along with proposed floor plans and elevations. These were then submitted to the Borough of Poole and the application was approved 8 weeks later under delegated powers.
