Design & Development Associates have secured planning permission for four new dwellings in Castle Lane West, Bournemouth. The applicant approached us after securing a retrospective planning permission for two flats at the neighbouring property at 214 Castle Lane West and wanted to demolish the existing bungalow and build 4 x 2 bedrooms flats. Design & Development Associates under took a pre-application for the scheme and met the planning officer in person to discuss the proposal and establish the scope of development. The pre-application response was positive and a full planning application was prepared. As part of the full planning application, Design & Development Associated instructed Pure Town Planning to produce a detailed Design & Access Statement to accompany our architectural drawings. The application was submitted and the principal of the design was approved by the planning officer.
